Anguish over the future of the podcast….is it a talk show? Is it a music show…? More great independent music (maybe it’s a music-talk show?…)
Are there a lot of guys named “Ron” in this show?
Whatever, it must go on!

Ronnie Wood lived in the cauldron of sixties and seventies British rock. He has been a member of the Rolling Stones for over thirty years. His other bands include The Birds, The Creation, The Jeff Beck Group, The Small Faces, and The Faces. A fascinating portrait not just of the Stones, but of the greatest rockers of the 1960’s and beyond—from Eric Clapton to Rod Stewart, Jimmy Page to Keith Moon, Jimi Hendrix to Pete Townshend—RONNIE is a rich, revelatory book. Readers have never had a view of the rock world like this before.
The book can be pre-ordered from all major online book sites and will be available on store shelves on October 30th from St. Martin’s Press.

OK—that’s the plug—you decide! Personally, I love Ronnie’s dirty slide guitar and rough vocals and when I think of him I think of the Faces and especially the late Ronnie Lane, bassist for the Small Faces/Faces and a musical side-kick of Pete Townshend.
I get to play a song from a long buried gem of an LP, “Mahoney’s Last Stand (1976)” called “Car Radio”.
Adam Curry’s interview with Presidential candidate Ron Paul (Daily Source Code #677) stands as one of the best
(brief) presentations of Pauls’s views I have heard to date. Sharp questions from Adam, thoughtful, well-reasoned and consistent answers from Paul. I am a political skeptic and am not supporting or promoting Ron Paul, or any other politician—but this stuff matters! And it NEEDS to be heard:
